Prayer Request
I have a special prayer request. I'm sitting here reading and studding and find myself excuse the pun but preaching to an empty house. So I prayed and asked God what he wants to do in my life. That he brought me over here for a reason. So, my prayer request is that we join together as one for god to show me what he wants to do in my life. I truly believe that god wants to us me for something but what I don't know. So when you start praying just keep me in thought that god will show me what his plans are for me. Thanks.
Something To Think About
Have you ever watched a child with a new story book. How there eyes get so wide opened and hang on to what's about to happen next. Well for me that's the Bible right now. I'm like that child who can't get enough or can't wait to see what miracles god is going to perform next. Yes its true that some bibles don't have all the color photo's in them but if you just read the words you can vision god performing all those miracles right in front of you. One day just sit and read it out loud to yourself and just feel the love that god has for you and what's about to take place next. Its an awesome feeling. Try it sometime then you'll understand what I'm talking about. Love you all.
Jesus Heals
How awesome to think about it. In the days that Jesus walked this earth knowing that if you were sick and had a chance to touch just his cloak you could be healed. That's the way he wants to be today. If we just believe in him and have faith that you would be healed. Think about it people to be healed and have the doctors look at you and ask you what you did to heal yourself. Wouldn't that be a conversation starter!!!! Jesus wants to heal us in every form of our lives. Why want we let him? Why are we afraid of healing? Is it because we don't want to let go of the things of this world (earthly things). I don't know about a lot of you but to know that all I have to do is touch his cloak and I would be healed that excites me. Jesus is alive and he wants to be alive in us. I'm on cloud ten right now because he has me all to himself and he is opening my eyes to things I didn't think was true or only heard about. People its time we started a NEW BEGINNING of what we should do for Jesus working through us. We need to be healed again in a refreshing SPIRIT only he can provide.
Life on Earth or in Heaven
It boggles me that when I read in Matt 7:13-14 how god talks about the gates of heaven being small and narrow and only few will find it how people can turn there backs on God. If we just surrender and trust and leave are lives for him one day at a time he will bless us and when we do pass on and knock on Heaven's door we'll be allowed to enter. Its unbelievable that people every day turn there backs on him. I don't know about you but I want to enter through that small and narrow gate to heaven. People he wants us to be happy. He wants to give us his riches that are in heaven so why turn your back on him. Those who chose life on this planet is doomed for destruction and torment beyond believe. Why would you want to do that just to be happy for a while when you can live in a kingdom full of riches? God has in store for us everything that we ask for. Just open your hearts and let him in. I'm loving this one on one basis with my Heavenly Father. I can honestly say that I don't know everything there is to know but everyday he opens up something new to me and it makes me hungry for more. Why do people tend to forget who he is and what he can do for us. Life is getting shorter by the day. Yes this road that we travel everyday is still the same road to destruction but the good news is when we die that road will be paved with gold. I don't know about the rest of you out there but I know my road here on earth is made of dirt and sand. But, I have a road of happiness and eternal life of good riches awaiting me and that sounds a lot better. Its your choice. You can chose to be happy for a while on a path of destruction or you can live life knowing that in the end your life will never be the same. God bless you all.
WORRYING
Today I was reading in Matt 6:25-34 where Jesus talks about Christians worrying about what they will they eat, what will they drink or what they will wear. He goes on later in that chapter discussing why we worry about the next day when the next day will have worries of its own. Why do you think we as Christians can't understand that were not promised tomorrow that we have to leave are lives for Jesus today. I find myself doing this a lot. To a degree I think we all do. But, if we just learn how to trust and believe and to live our lives one day at a time and put Jesus first in every thing we do he will take care of are needs. Which I found out during the holidays that by doing this he will take care of us. I urge everyone when they start worrying what they have to take care of the next day that they just stop and look up and say ok Lord tomorrow will have to wait and do what he asks us to do today. Jesus will take care of us as long as we do his will. I love you all. Take care.
LIGHT OR DARKNESS
Today I was reading in the book of Acts where Saul was heading to Damascus and was blinded for three days. Then in Matt chpt 6 where God talks about weather your body is full of light or darkness. Is it not true then when we become of age of understanding that are eyes are blinded and our bodies full of darkness until we recieve Jesus as are Lord and Savior. Then and only then will the scales that was covering are eyes go away and our hearts be filled with light. His light so we may do the works of the Lord. When will we start allowing god to remove the scales and the darkness that fills our bodies so that he might use us for his good works. Its not are works allone that god will bless. But, it is him working through use that he blesses. Man can not do anything on this earth without his help. Until were like Saul and be blinded and recieve the Holy Spirit will we fully understand what Jesus has in stored for are lives.
Have you ever wonder what it was like to sit under the teachings of Jesus? I have all the time. I just got done doing the readings for the last couple of days and let me tell you something. If you can't get excited about what god and his son Jesus Christ has done for us then I'll be happy to pray for you. Because, people I just got excited and still crying of tears of what god has shown me today through his teachings. One day just read Psalms chapters 5-7 then read Acts 3-4 and then finish it off with Matt 3/4 and tell me you can't get excited. David prays for guidance, mercy and wickedness being justly Rewarded if just that don't get you into the spirit a lone. Then the healing of the lame in Acts and then reading about John the Baptist baptizing Jesus to when he fasted for forty days and forty nights and the devil tempting him. I'm telling you people Jesus is a live and he Leaves inside of me. He has more to show me and all of you who read this. He is an awesome mighty god. I pray that we start getting deeper into what he wants for us. We have to be like a piece of fresh clay so He can mold us to his likeness. God bless one and all who reads this.
