Prayer Request

I have a special prayer request. I'm sitting here reading and studding and find myself excuse the pun but preaching to an empty house. So I prayed and asked God what he wants to do in my life. That he brought me over here for a reason. So, my prayer request is that we join together as one for god to show me what he wants to do in my life. I truly believe that god wants to us me for something but what I don't know. So when you start praying just keep me in thought that god will show me what his plans are for me. Thanks.

Roger, I believe that the Lord is taking this opportunity, while you are away from everything & everybody, to "get your attention".

It appears that He has it, from what you are experiencing. So, keep doing what you are doing!

I'm definitely adding that to my prayer list!!

And if you don't mind adding me for the same thing. I know I'm young and all but come December this year I have no idea what direction I'm supposed to be going. Also, if you don't mind, could you pray for direction in my love life? My heart has been pulling me one way but the guy that's in that direction says that my heart isn't going the right way so I would love for God to point me in the right direction if my heart really is on the wrong path. Thanks!!!

Hope you're having some fun over there!!!

Roger, The Lord God is doing much with your life already, you are entrusted to bring up four godly children to love and honor Him!You do have wonderful children! And you are commanded for love's sake to build up the esteem of your sweet wife, to encourage her and be her spiritual soul mate! Then just imagine how many people you and your family can influence for Jesus. Also, you are very much an important member of a precious caring church famliy. YOU add to and make the church richer because of your relationship with those in the family! You are learning and growing in the Lord Jesus Christ and that pleases God, therefore He will bless you and actually lead you into your destiny for His purpose, just believe as you are doing and have faith in God. Flow with the Holy Spirit, the Christian life can be like flowing along a river you aren't familiar with, yet the Lord reminds us that we are on the right river! So trust God for the ride, and Roger sometimes we are just blessed to enjoy the "scenery" and other times we are blessed to challenge the rapids to the gentle waters just beyond!! "without faith it is impossible to please Him, for He who comes to God must believe that He is and He is the rewarder of those who seek Him" Hebrews 11:6

Pastor: GREAT ANALOGY!!!! Pastor Tyler had one similar to me the other day. If we wake up every morning just willing to love Him with all our heart and willing to love one another, then he will gently lead us where we need to be and to go. It's a big river, and as long as we are in it, sometimes it is ok to be on the left bank, and then ok to be on the right bank. In Deuteronomy it said many times that he would bless what we put our hand to. He did not necessarily specify. Paul always had plans to visit one of the churches, and God would change the plans if needed. Sometimes there are specific answers, and other times not. Sounds like Mel and Roger are IN THE RIVER!!!!!! I'm praying for both of you!
