WORRYING

Today I was reading in Matt 6:25-34 where Jesus talks about Christians worrying about what they will they eat, what will they drink or what they will wear. He goes on later in that chapter discussing why we worry about the next day when the next day will have worries of its own. Why do you think we as Christians can't understand that were not promised tomorrow that we have to leave are lives for Jesus today. I find myself doing this a lot. To a degree I think we all do. But, if we just learn how to trust and believe and to live our lives one day at a time and put Jesus first in every thing we do he will take care of are needs. Which I found out during the holidays that by doing this he will take care of us. I urge everyone when they start worrying what they have to take care of the next day that they just stop and look up and say ok Lord tomorrow will have to wait and do what he asks us to do today. Jesus will take care of us as long as we do his will. I love you all. Take care.

Great message Roger!
For 2 years I had to stand very firm on this verse: 1 Peter 5: 6=7

Cast off ALL of your burdens, problems, fears, concerns, doubts. And leave them with Jesus; do not pick them back up. It works!

John,

I'll have to start standing firm on that one as well. You know by blogging I can get my expression out. There not mine but his. Hopefully what I'm saying get's to someone.

I was reading that scripture and the things that stood out to me was "who can add one minute to your life by worrying" in other words it is not gonna change anything. so why do we do it. Great job honey keep going
