HE A ROSE
As we get ready to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ. I ask everyone to remember what this day really means to each and every one of us. I think sometimes as
christians we forget during the year what
christ had to go through. Let's look upon this day as a day of celebrating instead of all the media hype. Yes that's right. Once again another great time in our christian faith is being over run by the media. This day and Christmas the media forgets what really happened. Isn't it time we give the media something to cover other than the gifts or other
wordly goods. We as
christians should be celebrating his Resurrection every day of are lives. I hope as you all get up in the morning for church just stop and say two things. One HE A ROSE, the second is THANK YOU and I LOVE YOU. I hope where ever you go today that you remember what this day is really about. I love you all and God bless you all. Lets all rejoice for HE IS ALIVE TODAY AND EVERYDAY.

This is actually the first year that I've felt like there are people in the media that are trying to put focus on Jesus. CNN has been doing news specials about Christianity vs. Science and from what I've seen... the arguments all lean towards God. There's another news channel that I was watching last night that had an hour long segment on about first finding God and whenever they got back from commercial break, the host would reintroduce himself and let the audience know that the only people that were speaking on the show were believers so people should expect what they heard to all be coming from people who believe in God. I really liked that there was finally all this focus on God on the news! (and at decent hours of the evening). I think the best thing I heard was during the God vs. Science program... when asked about what physical proof there is of God having created the world, the response was the God is about faith and "If you've got proof, then it really isn't faith at all". That statement makes so much sense!!!
Happy Easter Roger!!
Thank you for sharing that Mel. I wish I could've seen those stories that you talked about. I hope that you have a great day.
Happy Easter MEL.
Love you
Roger,
Happy Easter...Happy Resurection Day and (as Mrs. Cookie said) Meryy Christmas! You can't have one without the other! Praise God. You would have been so proud of the work Donna did today with Kayla and Caleb for "God Rods". It was so powerful and touching. Please know we all pray for you and I guess I don't have to tell you that Donna is counting down the days until you are home with your family!
Take care and we will see you soon. Until then, keep strong and hold fast to your faith in our Lord Jesus...and remember, you are to BLOOM right there where God has planted you!
In Christ's love,
Vivienne
