QUESTION OF THE DAY

Me and Donna was having a bible study with the kids last night and at the end I asked her a question that we both debated on for a long time. That one question is:

WHEN DO YOU BELIEVE CHRIST KNEW WHAT HIS PURPOSE ON EARTH WAS FOR?

I said when he was conceived by Mary and Donna said when he got baptized. So, with it being GOOD FRIDAY what do you say? The way this all came about is because my Son Eric was leading the bible study from Matthew 27. Why is it that it seems like the only time we tell this story is once a year and on this day. Shouldn't this story be told every day of every year? During the bible study I made a note about in the old testament when God called for a sacrifice it had to be perfect. No blemishes no bruises well Christ was the same way. He had no blemishes no bruises he was the perfect sacrifice to his Father. Just some things to think and really ask yourself is this story important enough to us to share every day that we walk on what Christ has given us? Have a great weekend and remember what this weekend is really about. I love you all and God bless you all.

I feel like it's something He always knew. I don't know when I began believing in Him because I feel like it's something I've known since I was very young. So maybe, the same way that his existence was instilled in me by my parents, God instilled in Him that he was the Messiah. Whether it was at conception or baptism, he would've been too young to comprehend it anyways, so I think His divine understanding definitely kicked in... He grew up just knowing.

Well, it says that he was in the synagogue preaching when he was just a child (12 years old, Luke 2:41 - 49) and Mary and Joseph left thinking he was with them and had to go back. Jesus said he was supposed to be in his Father's House. I think he was raised by Mary and Joseph knowing he was God's son in more ways than one.
